Capabilities

What we control, how we control it, and where the boundaries sit.

Eliteport arranges transportation through qualified carriers and specialist partners. This page describes the operating standards behind that coordination.

Carrier qualification

  • Operating authority and identity verified before tender.
  • Insurance certificates reviewed against the cargo value band for the shipment.
  • Safety and performance history reviewed for the service type and lane.
  • Specialized capabilities confirmed case by case: dangerous goods, temperature control, security escort, oversize equipment.
  • Carrier files re-checked as documents expire or performance changes.

Shipment control

  • A single coordinator owns the file from tender to closeout.
  • Milestone checkpoints agreed at dispatch: pickup, in transit, exception, delivery.
  • Exception handling with a documented recovery option before the delay reaches you.
  • Chain-of-custody and signature requirements confirmed in writing at tender.
  • Proof of delivery and the supporting document file returned at closeout.

Coverage

  • Ontario-based coordination across Canada and the United States.
  • Ground, air cargo, next-flight-out and hand-carry options depending on lane and capacity.
  • Cross-border movements coordinated with your customs broker of record.
  • Airport, hospital, plant, base and secure-facility deliveries handled to site protocol.
  • Exact corridors and airport capabilities are confirmed per shipment — coverage is lane dependent.

Communication

  • Structured intake so nothing critical is missed on the first call.
  • Proactive milestone updates rather than status requests from your side.
  • Escalation path named at dispatch for time-critical files.
  • Live tracking where the assigned carrier supports it.
  • Written confirmation of acceptance, pricing and timing before movement.

Workflow

How a file moves through Eliteport.

  1. 01

    Intake & risk review

Mission, timing, cargo profile and handling requirements are captured, reviewed and confirmed before anything is committed.

  2. 02

    Qualified carrier selection

Carrier and equipment are selected against the lane, cut-off, cargo value and risk profile, with authority and insurance verified.

  3. 03

    Live coordination

Milestones and exceptions are communicated to your named stakeholders, with escalation when the plan changes.

  4. 04

    POD & document closeout

Proof of delivery, custody events and supporting documents are validated and returned as one shipment file.

Boundaries

What Eliteport is — and is not.

Eliteport Delegators is a freight brokerage. We arrange transportation through qualified carriers; we are not an asset-based carrier and do not operate our own fleet or aircraft.
Eliteport is not a licensed customs broker. Cross-border shipments are coordinated with your customs broker of record, and we do not provide customs, tariff or legal advice.
No transit time, capacity or price is guaranteed until Eliteport confirms it in writing for the specific shipment.
